As co-host/producer of the weekly radio show “Take Care,” a conversation on health and wellness on NPR affiliate WRVO Public Media, Linda has earned two Associated Press New York State Broadcasters Association Awards: one First Place (2013) for Best Radio Interview, and one Special Mention (2013) for Best Radio News Special/Documentary. She’s also the recipient of a 2014 Syracuse Press Club Award for Public Affairs programming

As a columnist for Family Times, The Parenting Magazine of Central New York, she was awarded the 2014 Bronze Medal for Personal Essay by the Parenting Media Association. (Read her award-winning essay “Friends for Life.”)

In her 15-year career covering women’s issues, Linda has received both regional and national awards for her internet and broadcast work. She was a 2009 recipient of the Exceptional Merit in Media Award (EMMA) from the National Women’s Political Caucus for her article on gender biased media coverage of Sarah Palin, and was twice honored by Women in Communications with the Clarion Award for Best Women’s Issues Radio programming.
